• Plug-in to the future
    San Francisco added new plug-in hybrid electric cars to its clean fuel fleet.  The Mayor calls it "game changing" technology, and hopes to see more green cars on Bay Area roads and more auto companies manufacturing and selling them at affordable prices.

    When you bring your leftover latex paint to the recycling center, it gets a new life covering graffiti here in town…and sometimes it goes all the way to Africa!

    San Francisco city government is taking a close look at how to use information technology more effectively to reduce our contribution to greenhouse gasses and toxic waste.
